Tess Castleman, M.A., L.P.C., I.A.A.P., is a Zurich-trained Diplomate Jungian Analyst (1989) and training analyst. Her practice specializes in groups and individuals with emphasis on dream analysis, art interpretation, sand tray projection, in-depth analysis, spiritual and religious issues.

Tess has facilitated dream analysis groups for over twenty years including an innovative dream analysis group for the Dallas County Jail called The Jail Project. In addition she leads expressive art workshops and therapeutic writing seminars. She has been practicing psychology since 1979 and brings the full force of her rich dream analysis experience to her newest book Threads, Knots, Tapestries, by Tess Castleman.

Previous publications include "Heyoka Shamanism and Analytical Psychology" -- Shamanic Applications Review (1998); as well as numerous lectures, seminars and workshops in Portland, Eugene, Houston, Dayton, Sau Paulo Brazil, and Dallas, among other locations, on dream analysis, dream groups, C.G. Jung, eating disorders, the Mother Complex among others.

Ms. Castleman was elected to the Curatorium of the C. G. Jung Institute of Zurich in October of 2006. She is the only non-Swiss resident to sit on the governing board with five other Jungian analysts and Daniel Baumann, the Jung Institute president who is Carl Jung’s great-grand son.

Her role on the Curatorium is to oversee the English Block program which is a 21st. century model for Jungian Analyst training www.junginstitut.ch. She is a training analyst and faculty member of the C. G. Jung Institute as well.
